ADF’s Executive Council Meeting held in Kenya

The Executive Council of the African Disability Forum (ADF) comprises of nine members from nine countries and is elected by the General Assembly to regularly meet every year. The Council had a three-day in-person meeting, organized by the ADF Secretariat, at the Ole Serene Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya from November 25-27. The main purpose of this meeting was to discuss on-strategy agendas and issues of ADF and to make decisions and action points.

The agendas raised during the meeting included, but not limited to, progress update of the Secretariat, organizational policies and guidelines, partnership and collaboration with partners, approval of request from the Somali Disability Network for ADF membership, and capacity building for ADF and its members. The Council also produced final statements and made decisions on the issues raised during the three-day meeting.
