Eligible countries: Cambodia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Sudan and Zimbabwe
Location: The Swedish phase will be held in Stockholm, Sweden if travel is possible. The two regional phases, one week per phase, will be held in the East/Southern Africa or Asian Region. If travel is restricted for any reason, courses will be offered remotely.
To strengthen the social protection systems at a time when Covid-19 has demonstrated their dire necessity globally, Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), Swedish Public Employment Agency (Arbetsförmedlingen) and the Economic Policy Research Institute (EPRI) have come together to provide the Advanced International Training Programme onSocial Protection for Sustainable Development. The sixth cohort (ITP-6) of this programme is specifically aimed at building the capacities of innovative leaders who are working on social protection in the countries of Cambodia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Sudan and Zimbabwe.
