October 10 was World Mental Health Day. The Pan African Network for Persons with Psychosocial Disabilities (PANPPD), with support from the International Disability Alliance, Humanity Inclusion, African Disability Forum, Open Society Foundations, and its 21 affiliates across Africa, commemorated the World Mental Health Day 2021 on Tuesday, October 12, with the theme “Mental Health in an Unequal World – Unequal Africa?”
PANPPD together with Zimbabwe OCD Trust, an affiliate of PANPPD are organising a one-day webinar on the rights of persons with psychosocial disabilities to be considered equal in the social, health, and before the law. The presenters for the webinar were Sylvester Kantotoka (Zambia), Angelica Mukorongo (Zimbabwe), Adv Janet Amegetcher (Ghana), and Dr Fabian Musoro.
