Persons With Disabilities in Africa.
ADF programmes and projects advance disability rights across the continent by empowering, developing and advocating for African Disabled Persons’ Organizations (DPOs). Working in alignment with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, ADF initiatives strengthen the institutional capacity of national and sub-regional DPO federations, advocate for systemic inclusion in major multilateral development programmes, and amplify the collective voice of Africans with disabilities before the African Union and regional bodies.
