The ADF Secretariat
Coordinating Continental Action for Disability Rights and Inclusion
The institutional hub driving ADF’s continental mission to advance the rights, dignity, participation and inclusion of persons with disabilities across Africa. Headed by the Executive Director, the ADF Secretariat is composed of staff members. The Secretariat is responsible for the day to day operations of the Forum. Currently the Secretariat has four departments namely, Advocacy and Communications, Capacity Development, Project/programme management, and Finance and Operations
About the Secretariat
The African Disability Forum (ADF) Secretariat serves as the central coordinating and administrative body supporting the organisation’s strategic direction, programmes and engagement with members, partners and stakeholders across Africa. It facilitates collaboration among organisations of persons with disabilities, strengthens advocacy and institutional capacity, and supports initiatives that advance disability rights, accessibility, meaningful participation and inclusive development. Through continental coordination, strategic partnerships, policy engagement and programme implementation, the Secretariat works to amplify the voices of persons with disabilities and promote a more accessible, equitable and inclusive Africa.
